15 of Europe’s autonomy and independence movements come together in Edinburgh to map out a future for Europe based on decentralisation and greater democracy.
Among the nations and regions attending are Greenland, the Faros, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Flanders, the Veneto, Sardinia, Sicily, South Tyrol, Catalonia, the Basque Country, Corsica and the North of England.
The conference is being organised by the Scottish Independence Convention in association with the International Commission for European Citizens, an EU-affiliated body which represents nations and regions seeking independence or greater autonomy.
Conference tickets only are £10 and conference and ceilidh tickets are £25 and include a fork buffet in the evening.
The evening’s music is being performed by the Stan Reeves Ceilidh Band.
We publish events and consultations in our calendar which we hope will be of interest to our members and supporters. We strive to be accurate in these listings, so please contact us if you see an error or problem. The organisers of third-party events (coded blue) are mostly unconnected to us, and we have no control over these.
If you know of an event that you would like to see listed here, please let us know.
