A Night for MAP – fundraiser

Scotland’s finest musicians take to the stage in a show of solidarity with the people of Palestine: LAU, Fergus McCreadie, Cahalen Morrison, Karine Polwart/Dave Milligan and Lizabett Russo/Graeme Stephen.

Every penny raised will contribute towards the food, water and medical supplies that the occupying forces have denied Gazans for so long.

Gaza lies in ruins after a bombing campaign that is unprecedented in human history. There are more child amputees in this nation of 2 million than anywhere else on the planet. The World Health Organisation estimates that the true death toll could exceed 150,000 (70% of them women and children).

MAP (Medical Aid for Palestinians) have struggled to provide aid throughout Israel’s genocidal military campaign. They have had to work in impossible circumstances and lost many staff along the way. Their surgeons have been obliged to conduct life-saving operations without electrical power, running water or anaesthetics.
