Edinburgh Festival Carnival is one of Scotland’s largest multi-cultural events and brings together international carnival artists with communities from across Edinburgh and provides them with a world-class platform to celebrate their culture, heritage, and identity.
Held in West Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh city centre, it is a free and family-friendly event. The centrepiece of Edinburgh Festival Carnival is the carnival parade called the ‘World in One City’. This is complemented by an afternoon of performances which take place in West Princes Street Gardens.
