The Community Right to Buy was introduced in Scotland in 2003 to empower rural, urban, and crofting communities to acquire land and assets. The Scottish Government is consulting as part of a review aimed at simplifying the process and exploring improvements.
The consultation document examines options for improvement across various stages of the community right to buy processes and asks consultees for their opinions on these.
The consultation is open to all members of the public. The Government are particularly keen to hear from those who have interacted with the rights in the past, whether as a seller, buyer, practitioner or interested party.
We publish events and consultations in our calendar which we hope will be of interest to our members and supporters. We strive to be accurate in these listings, so please contact us if you see an error or problem. The organisers of third-party events (coded blue) are mostly unconnected to us, and we have no control over these.
If you know of an event that you would like to see listed here, please let us know.
