Fundraiser for Medical Aid for Palestinians in collaboration with The Greater Spotted Ceilidh Band and the Ceilidh Collective.
Three hours of dancing with The Greater Spotted Ceilidh Band, joined by the embracing and inclusive voices of the 28-strong Portobello Community Choir. Also a very special improv dance with Nada Shawa (Palestinian poet and dancer).
This will be followed by a panel of speakers hosted by author and poet, Esa Aldegheri including
Plus a fabulous fundraising raffle hosted by local actor, community activist, and MC for the evening, Hazel Darwin-Clements.
The volunteer-run licensed bar in the hall will be serving our range of real ales, local lagers, organic and fruit wines, and malt whisky, as well as a range of kombucha, alcohol-free beers, pear and apple juices, and karma cola!
