Pathways into Green politics for underrepresented groups: thinking about standing for Holyrood?

Wednesday 21 May @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Join us for this informal session online to hear more about what it’s like to stand for election, have a chance to ask questions from members who have stood before, and learn a bit more about the process and the joys and the challenges of being a candidate in the Lothian region.

This session is open to any Scottish Green Party members in Edinburgh or wider Lothian who identify as being from a group that is underrepresented in politics.

This includes but is not limited to: women members, members of colour, disabled members, young Greens and Rainbow Greens (LGBTQ members). It doesn’t matter whether you’re 100% certain you want to be our next First Minister, or whether you’d just like to find out a little more and meet others in the party –
there’ll be no commitments, just some nice chats and a space to ask questions.

This session will be fully online and will have closed captions enabled

You’ll find Zoom details in email-outs from the branch.

If you have any questions about the session, please email Kate Nevens.
