A walk through history, woodland and river, from the War Poets trail to the RLS trail and Colinton tunnel.
Starting at Happy Valley Post Office, 140 Colinton Road, served by 10, 27 and 45 buses. Finishing at Spylaw Tavern in Colinton village.
The walk is just under 4 miles and should take at most 2.5 to 3 hours. Paths or tracks are good but may be muddy in some places. There are some steps or inclines.
