Join Green Cllr Claire Miller for an extra Member-Councillor Forum to discuss the health and social care funding crisis in Edinburgh.
Claire is a member of the Integration Joint Board, which sets the annual budget for health and social care services across the city, and is being asked to approve a programme of savings at its upcoming board meeting. Savings include the closure of two council care homes, not fully paying the Scottish Living Wage, and limits to social care entitlement.
At this forum members will be able to ask Claire about the funding gap and find out more about what actions are possible to protect valuable services.
