I’m standing to be an MSP to bring an unapologetic feminist and left-wing voice to the Scottish Parliament to fight for the radical, transformative change our country needs.

As a seasoned activist and campaigner, I have worked across a broad range of issues, fighting for abortion rights, trans rights, migrant justice and Palestine, and against the two-child benefit cap and the arms trade.

In my professional life, I have worked as a facilitator and researcher with young people, women and activist groups in Scotland and across the world. This work has had a huge influence on how I see the world and the need for radical, revolutionary action at both small and large scales.

If elected as an MSP, I would bring my passion for radical change right to the heart of Scottish politics. I would stand up against the unequal, oppressive systems that are so harmful to marginalised communities in Scotland, helping to address the cost of living crisis and ensure that everyone has access to safe and secure housing and healthcare. I would work to build an economy based on equality, peace and wellbeing rather than growth, and I would fight against the climate emergency – the defining issue of my generation and beyond.

I am immensely proud of what we’ve achieved as Greens in Scotland, from securing the right of refugees to vote, to pushing through free bus travel for young people, to standing up so strongly for trans rights, migrant rights and Palestine when others have run scared. If elected to Holyrood, I would work hard every day on behalf of my community to transform Scotland for the better, continuing this Green legacy of fighting for progressive action.

I’m really excited to be a lead candidate for the Lothian list for the Greens, alongside the amazing Lorna Slater and Q Manivannan, and I look forward to bringing our collective vision to Holyrood in May.
