Voter Registration Deadline
To vote in the Scottish Parliament election, you must be registered.
The deadline to register to vote for this election is midnight on Monday 20th April.
If you are already registered to vote, you will have recently received a letter or polling card from your electoral registration office. If you haven’t received this, you are not registered – you must register by the end of Monday to vote in this election.
Anyone age 16 or over living in Scotland can vote in Scottish Parliament and Scottish Council elections. Your nationality doesn’t matter, as long as you have permission to enter the uk, or you don’t need permission.
UK students can register at both term-time address and home address, then vote from either one. International students studying in Scotland can vote.
If you haven’t already registered, DO IT NOW.
Once you are Registered, you can apply for a Postal Vote (deadline 21st April) or a Proxy Vote (deadline 28th April).
We publish events and consultations in our calendar which we hope will be of interest to our members and supporters. We strive to be accurate in these listings, so please contact us if you see an error or problem. The organisers of third-party events (coded blue) are mostly unconnected to us, and we have no control over these.
If you know of an event that you would like to see listed here, please let us know.
