Sharing our wealth: What does the public think about wealth inequality and wealth taxation in Scotland?

Friday 20 March @ 6:20 pm - 7:30 pm

Our economy generates enough wealth for everyone to have a good life. But the design of our economy ensures this wealth is unfairly distributed. The increasing power of wealth over hard work is creating an uneven playing field. While most people make money from working, the wealthiest people don’t have to work at all – their money does all the work for them.

Join WEAll Scotland for the launch of their latest research on public attitudes to wealth inequality and wealth taxation in Scotland. Supported by a panel of experts, they will discuss how to use the findings to better share our wealth in Scotland, to build a Wellbeing Economy, and to challenge politicians to be bolder on tax justice in Scotland.

Cllr Dan Heap, our local councillor and candidate, will be joining the discussions to share his insights.
