North Edinburgh & Leith Greens Members’ Meeting

Monthly meeting of the North Edinburgh & Leith sub-branch (NEL)

Meetings usually take place on the second Wednesday of the month.

Who is invited? All members of North Edinburgh & Leith Greens, and any Green supporters in Forth, Leith or Leith Walk council wards who are interested in our work.

Attending these meetings is the simplest way to start getting involved in the Greens. If you’re new, yes, you are in the right place and you are welcome here – come join us!

In-person and online

You can attend the meeting either in-person in the Wee Duncan room of Duncan Place Community Hub, or online.

The link for the online meeting is included in the sub-branch mailing list each month. If you are a not a member, you can email nel@scottishgreens.org.uk to request the link.

Accessibility

• Entrance – Ramped access with handrails or 8 steps with handrails
• Entry Doors – Automatic push pad entry.
  • Wide main entrance door – opens to the outside.
  • Inner doors with intercom – please ring the bell, and staff can remotely unlock the inner doors
• Internal Doors – All internal doors are step-free and wide enough for wheelchair users, including power chairs
• Ground Floor Toilets
  • One individual toilet
  • One wheelchair accessible toilet, big enough for a powerchair, with easy turn taps, grab rail and red pullcord alarm
• Room Lighting – Lighting is fluorescent, but there are several windows which can give natural light if preferred

• The entrance is opposite Leith Links, close to Leith Links Primary School.
• Nearest bus stops: Duke Street, Vamburgh Place, Foot of the Walk; buses 21, 25, 35, 49.
