Green Walk: Union Canal and Water of Leith
A gentle walk along the historic Union Canal and Water of Leith finishing up in Saughton Park and nearby cafe or pub.
Meet 2pm by the swan sculptures at the east end of the Union Canal.
Walk leader is Gavin Corbett, former Green councillor and city canal champion, and currently chair of Water of Leith Conservation Trust.
Distance 4 miles. Duration 2-2.5 hours.
All on level paths (some parts can be muddy) with one flight of steps which can be bypassed.
Plenty of buses both to start and end point and end point is also near Balgreen tram stop.
