Event Series (See All)

Branch meeting

7:00-7:45 pm, members-only

Our members’ meeting will consider papers that are coming to the December Council meeting and seeking Edinburgh members’ views on how our Branch reps should vote and input to that meeting.

Green Talk

7:45-9:00 pm, open to non-members (contact events.edin@scottishgreens.org.uk to request the link)

This month we’ll be joined by Q Manivannan – one of the lead Holyrood candidates and Rachel Green – director at The Ripple Project (https://www.rippleproject.co.uk), who will discuss the state of Scottish health and social care and what is necessary to support them.

Rachel Green is a seasoned community development and third sector leader with over 30 years’ experience spanning local government, national networks, and grassroots organisations. Beginning her journey on a village hall committee, she combined lived experience with academic study, earning a BA in Community Education and later an MScR in Health Humanities and Arts. Known for her collaborative and transparent leadership style, Rachel builds strategic partnerships across government, academia, and the third sector, advocating for holistic, person-led approaches that create meaningful, lasting change.
