Branch meeting

7:00-7:45 pm, members-only

At this year’s Scottish Greens AGM in November, there will be a discussion of constitutional changes the party needs to make following suspension of our formal gender quotas earlier this year.

This is an opportunity to discuss the changes the party is considering because of regressive changes to the way equality laws are being interpreted and applied. We welcome views on how the party can continue to be inclusive and support underrepresented groups in the current climate of rising transphobia and misogyny.

Green Talk

7:45-9:00 pm, open to non-members

In the first of five Green Talks before May 2026, we’ll be hearing from a range of speakers on the topics we think will matter most in this election.

This month we’ll be focusing on transport and hearing from two of our candidates about what they’d like to see change to make our transport system greener and fairer for all.

Cllr Kayleigh Kinross-O’Neill and Cllr Chas Booth will speak about their experiences trying to improve Edinburgh’s transport systems and their ideas for the future. There will be time for discussion and questions.

Accessibility

Our aim is to have branch meetings that are both in-person and online.

Most in-person meetings take place at Augustine United Church. You can find information about venue accessibility here.

Online meetings are on Zoom and have closed captions enabled. Look out for details of how to join the online meetings in your monthly member e-news and reminder email.

If you need any more information, or have any ideas about any aspect of access or inclusion improvements that we can make at our events, please tell us.
