Door-knocking in the South Side

Sunday 23 November @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Holyrood candidate Kayleigh Kinross-O'Neill, with Cllr Steve Burgess and SEEG volunteers pose with their clipboards after a door-knocking session.

Join our next door-knocking session, talking to South Side residents. Meeting outside Nelson Hall (on the corner of Bernard Terrace and St Leonards Street). There’s a cafe right there on the corner if you need sustenance to get going.

Green councillor Steve Burgess will start us off with a briefing session then we’ll get together in pairs and head out door-knocking for a couple of hours. Anyone new to door-knocking can accompany an experienced member to watch how it’s done, before joining in with the conversations when they feel ready. All local supporters are welcome, whether or not you are a Green member.

We’ll get back together at Nelson Hall afterwards to swap feedback and fill in our bingo cards over coffee and biscuits.

Accessibility

The housing in the South Side is mostly tenements with stairs, but we will make sure there is a door-knocking run that is wheelchair accessible.
