Door knocking in Linlithgow with Gillian Mackay MSP
West Lothian Greens knocking on doors in Springfield, the greenest part of Linlithgow.
We will be meeting around 11:00 at the White Dove Coffee Roasters cafe on Blackness Road, with the aim to set off for start door-knocking by 11:30.
Gillian Mackay will be leading the session which will be by the “Running the board” method which is suited to an area consisting of houses with main doors.
We welcome canvassers of all experience levels and none.
This will be an excellent opportunity for Edinburgh members used to paired door-knocking to experience a different way of canvassing which is applicable for non-tenement areas of the city, as well as a chance to canvas alongside our new party Co-leader.
Accessibility
White Dove Coffee is reportedly wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet although there is one negative review from 2023 in Euan’s Guide about a missing safety cord.
The area consists of main doors, but we cannot guarantee that routes to all doors will be unobstructed.
