Door-knocking in Leith Walk (Abbeyhill Colonies)

A Holyrood 2026 door-knocking action day in an area with a high Green vote share

We welcome canvassers of all experience levels and none. New or inexperienced canvassers will be paired with more experienced partners. We need people to observe and take notes as well as people willing to talk to residents. You do not have to be a member to get involved.

Schedule

• 14:00 Meet at the bike racks opposite 23 Rossie Place ( ///stray.dance.label) for briefing
• 14:30 Commence door knocking
• 16:00 Return to the bike racks for debriefing
• 16:10 Optional socialising at The Regent, Montrose Terrace

Accessibility

• Many of the houses in this area are ground floor entry with only one or two steps. Those needing to avoid lots of stairs can pick and choose which houses to visit!
• The Regent is a ten-minute walk from Rossie Place if you avoid stairs and steep hills (and a six-minute walk if you don’t). It has an accessible entrance and seating, but no accessible toilet.
